10:00am - Southwest Florida Traffic Net

146.685 (-) (136.5) Monday - Saturday.  The SWFTN is the local affiliate of and is sponsored by the American Radio Relay League’s National Traffic System. The primary function of the SWFTN is to handle formal Radiogram message traffic as part of the NTS.


8:30am - SunShine Net   

146.745 (-) and 444.975 (+),  (136.5) & ECHOLink   Every Day - One of the most popular nets in Southwest Florida it runs for approximately 2 hours daily.   There is usually a question of the day which sparks great hobby related banter.    The ECHOLink allows our part time residents to participate even when not here locally.   The Repeater also simulcasts on both VHF and UHF.   Run by CARSFL The Charlotte Amateur Radio Society


8:30pm - EAGLE NET ON NI4CE

ARRL WCF SECTION TRAFFIC NET - On The Big Stick - Daily at - The West Central Florida Section daily traffic net is the Eagle Net held daily at 8:30 PM (2030) Eastern Time on the NI4CE repeater system.

7:30pm - Loggerhead Net

146.790 (-) (136.5)  A Great Rag Chew Sponsored by the City of Sanibel on the VHF Repeater Located on Sanibel Island.  


9:00pm - Windmill Net  28.475 USB   

Break out the HF Rigs.   This is a great opportunity to work with 10 Meters and test that equipment.   This Net Operates on a portion of the 10M Band that is Open to Technicians.

7:30pm - 220 Net "The Buck and a Quarter Net"

224.520 (-)  (136.5)  Rag Chew on a Great Band that is Seldom Used.  Billed as one of the Only 220 Nets in Florida, this is a Great Place to test 220 rigs and talk about the band, it's use, and the Hobby in General.

146.490 (simplex) No PL.  One of the only Local Simplex Nets.  This is a Great Net for testing range and utilizing directional antennas.   It's also a Great Discussion.

8:00am to 1:00pm - SCARS - South Coast Amateur Radio Service

https://southcars.com/ - South-Cars is a phone net operating on 7.251 MHZ. The net has been in operation since around 1967. The South Coast Amateur Radio Service, popularly known as “South-Cars”, or “SCARS” is a service net, (recognized by the ARRL).

The Lee County ARES® / All Lee Emergency Response Team is committed to providing reliable Amateur Radio communications support to the Lee County Office of Emergency Management. Missions may be assigned to the A.L.E.R.T. in situations of an emergency nature or natural disaster anywhere within Lee County or adjacent counties

The primary function of the SWFTN is to handle formal Radiogram message traffic as part of the NTS.  The SWFTN meets daily except Sunday at 10:00am ET on the 147.165(+) repeater, PL tone 127.3. We encourage everyone, with or without traffic, to check in. 

Located in Charlotte County, Florida,  supporting ARES emergency auxiliary communications, radio and electronics experimentation, education and science.   Club membership is open to all ham radio operators and to those who want to become ham radio operators.
